Children’s Ministry

Welcome to the First Presbyterian Church of Annandale!   The First Presbyterian Church of Annandale has the children’s worship service every Sunday, at 10:00 am, when the traditional adult worship service begins.  Our church believes in what Jesus says in Luke 18:16, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of God belongs to those who are like these children.”  We believe children are the future of church and they teach us so many good things!  Our church provides easy, educational, and fun programs for all ages of children, based on the curriculum “Sparkhouse,” every Sunday morning at 10 am.

Cherubs Nursery Care (Babies & Toddlers)

Both babies and their parents can participate in the Sunday Worship Service through TV at nursery room 108 when the service starts.

Sparrow Class (2-3 years)

Children from ages 2 to 3 years old meet at room 107 with our Sunday school teacher after Children’s message.  Sparrow Class provides the youngest children the opportunities to learn about the Bible, through storytelling, songs, arts, and play.

Eagles Sunday School (Preschool – 6th grade)

Children’s Worship Service starts at 10:00 am on every Sunday morning in room 209.

Children from preschool to 6th grade will meet in children’s worship room (209) with Stella, our Director of Family Ministries, at 10:00 am.  The Eagles Sunday School is the story-based program that children absorb the Bible lessons, through media, songs, and a variety of activities. Children in Eagles Sunday School participate in large group gathering with singing and prayer, and actively engage in discussion, crafts, and games related to the Bible themes.

We are very fortunate to have our wonderful talented Sunday School teachers, but we are always welcome to have awesome volunteers with passion and dedication towards children.  If you are interested in helping this ministry, please contact Stella, off[email protected] to see any availability.
